MIUI 13 : Standing Soon!

Xiaomi is releasing one major software update after another. Immediately after the release of MIUI 12.5 MIUI 12. Came out later, which includes major updates over the previous version. With so many Xiaomi devices around the world waiting for MIUI 12.5, we're already getting closer to seeing MIUI 13.

According to rumors, MIUI 13 is expected to be released on Friday, June 25, 2021, during the second quarter of this year.

The source also mentioned that Xiaomi will unfortunately not release the MIUI 13 for some older models, including the 2019 MI9 series. These may include Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8 and a few others.

MI9 has already received the MIUI 12.5 update and some older devices, including the MI Max 2S and MI8 series, will be upgraded to MIUI 12.5, but IUI 13 will not be found.

Source MIUI 13 does not talk about software updates that come with the patch. But given the track record of previous updates, we can expect to see visual changes, new security features and improvements, new animations, and improved battery life.

Note that there is no official word yet from Xiaomi regarding MIUI13, so we suggest taking this information with a grain of salt.
