Rumors about the iPhone 13 series, which includes a 120 Hz refresh rate display, have been circulating on the internet for some time.

According to the latest South Korean publication, Alec has confirmed that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will get a new LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. These displays are made by Samsung Displays and will be connected to the main board using more expensive RFPCB (Rigid Flexible Printed Circuit Boards) instead of the historic FPCB. RFPCB is also being acquired by Samsung Electro mechanics.

For those who don't know, LTPO panels are more powerful than their LTPS counterparts and also support integration refresh rates without the need for additional hardware.

As for the other phones in the series, namely the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini, they will offer last year's LTPS panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate. However, according to experts, Apple plans to shift to LTP OLED for all its iPhone models by next year.

For now, Samsung is currently the only company that can meet Apple's needs, but rumors suggest that Cupertino is in talks with LG to develop some of its display panels for the iPhone 14. Will
