In September last year, Tecno launched the Spark 6 in Pakistan with a quad camera setup for the Helio G70SC, 6.8-inch display, and PKR20,599. Now, the company has launched its successor, the Tecno Spark 7, with a slightly smaller display, longer aspect ratio, a larger battery and Android 11. Overall, though, this phone looks a bit like its predecessor.

Design and display

Unlike its predecessor, which featured circular module ticker cameras, the Tecno Spark 7 has its own dual-sensor camera mounted on a metal-looking rectangular corridor. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the back.

The handset is built around a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with 720p resolution, 20: 9 aspect ratio, a standard 60 Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of 480 nits.

Internal and storage

Internally, the handset is powered by MediaTek Helio A25SC with 2GB or 3GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB onboard storage.

It runs Android 11 OS with HiOS 7.5 UI. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, Micro USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As far as onboard sensors are concerned, the phone comes with accelerometer, ambient light, proximity sensor, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Camera

On the back, the phone plays an AI-powered 16-megapixel dual-camera system with LED flash. For selfies and video chats, the Tecno Spark 7 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front, with an F / 2.0 lens. The selfie camera is also supported by LED flash.

Battery and pricing

The entire package has a high speed 6000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging.

It is currently available for sale in India till April 16. The price of the 2 / 32GB is priced at $ 94 and the 3 / 64GB variant is priced at Rs 7,107.
